Round 2: No space , no race
Round 2 of the season in China kicked off with chaos on the formation lap, setting a tumultuous tone for the weekend. Dudeez, visibly enraged after a collision at Turn 1, made the dramatic decision to quit the championship altogether, leaving a significant gap in the competition. Meanwhile, on the straight leading to the last hairpin, Lars and Tepig collided but fortunately escaped without damage. The sprint race saw Coen claiming the victory, especially after his chief rival, Legitimate_EX, failed to qualify. However, the track was far from calm as a head-on collision between Lars and iluvnightwing unfolded. Iluvnightwing spun out and remained on the racing line unaware, leading to Lars and Gustavo battling into the straight and Lars colliding with iluvnightwing. The impact caused Lars to lose a wing but thankfully avoided more severe consequences.
The main race saw a reduced field due to Dudeez's early exit, resulting in a gripping but chaotic contest. Tepig ignited absolute mayhem on the opening lap, cutting off Lukas into Turn 3 before losing brake control and divebombing five different drivers into Turn 6. Later, while being lapped, Tepig attempted to unlap himself but failed, drawing a stern warning from race stewards for obstructing the leaders. The intense rivalry between Coen and Legitimate_EX continued, with Coen eventually cracking under pressure, losing control, and retiring from the race. Lukas and Lars battled fiercely throughout, with Lars running wing-damaged but still managing to fend off Lukas for several laps. The showdown came at the hairpin, where Lukas misjudged the corner and forcefully knocked Lars aside, ending Lars’s fight. Riding the momentum of that battle, Lukas sped up through the pack, only to clash with Goose in a similar misjudgment, resulting in a collision that earned Goose a two-second penalty. Legitimate_EX, unchallenged after Coen's exit, capitalized on the situation and secured the win, extending his championship lead to 18 points.
