The Collapse in the Corners: How Jeddah Rewrote the Final Chapter
Round 5 • Jeddah Street Circuit
“A Night of Chaos, Collisions, and a Championship Crackdown.”
The Fixxxer Racing Syndicate rolled into the neon-lit walls of Jeddah knowing the stakes had never been higher. Only two rounds remained, and every driver in the top five sensed opportunity. What nobody expected was that Jeddah would tear the championship picture into pieces and rebuild it into something even more intense.
QUALIFYING: Calm… Until It Wasn’t
Unlike previous rounds, qualifying remained controlled and almost serene — until one huge moment changed everything.
Salmon, distracted during his cooldown, drifted into the racing line and blocked championship leader Legitimate_EX during a flying lap.
The result? A ruined attempt, and a furious title contender forced to settle for P4.
The front row was locked out by two of the league’s deadliest street-track specialists:
P1: Dzio
P2: Hellboy
P3: Abrantes
Legitimate_EX started behind the very drivers he needed to beat — a small mistake from Salmon, but a potentially massive impact on the championship.
LIGHTS OUT: Collision & a Virtual Safety Car
The race exploded into chaos from the very first meters.
Lars launched perfectly, surging alongside Red Bull rookie Brandon, who seemed completely caught off guard. In a moment of panic or misunderstanding, Brandon turned in on Lars — sparking a multi-car incident before the grid had even settled.
Carbon fibre everywhere. Cars scrambling. Voices raised in team radios.
Race Control responded within seconds: VSC deployed.
The sudden slowdown rattled many. Drivers clipped corners, missed deltas, or misjudged braking points; the penalties flowed immediately.
Tepig, already struggling after early contact, damaged his front wing under VSC and never recovered — eventually retiring after a miserable evening.
Up front, the top five broke away cleanly. Dzio, Abrantes, Hellboy fought for domination, while Lars and Legitimate_EX clung to the back of the leading trio but slowly began drifting out of range.
THE BIG ONE: SI’S CRASH & A SAFETY CAR SHAKEUP
Jeddah’s brutal walls claimed their next victim mid-race when SI suffered a huge crash. The impact left no doubt: full Safety Car deployed.
Every leader dove into the pitlane for service…
Except Lars.
The gamble catapulted him into P1, the unlikely leader of the pack. With fresher tyres looming behind him on every side, Lars prepared for the restart — and for what would become one of the most devastating moments of his career.
LARS’ TRAGIC MISTAKE — AND A SEASON-ENDING BAN
On the restart, Lars attempted to slow slightly to allow his teammate Abrantes behind him to position properly. But the narrow walls of Jeddah don’t forgive hesitation.
A snap.
A slide.
A sickening impact.
Lars’ car spun violently into his teammate Abrantes, wiping both out of contention momentarily and sending shockwaves through the league.
The stewards responded harshly and swiftly:
Lars was handed a race ban for the Miami finale.
A heartbreaking end to a driver who had shown flashes of brilliance all season — and now would be forced to watch the title decider from the sidelines.
FINAL LAPS: TITANS COLLIDE, DREAMS DIE
With Lars falling down to P11 after the incident, the top three regrouped — Abrantes, Hellboy, Legitimate_EX — ready for a showdown.
But Jeddah had more carnage planned.
Dzio spun out, losing his earlier lead.
Hellboy clipped the wall in the closing laps, suffering terminal damage and retiring on the spot.
It was more than a DNF.
It was the end of his championship campaign.
That left two men standing at the front:
Abrantes vs. Legitimate_EX — the championship duel.
They battled hard, wheel-to-wheel at times, but it was Legitimate_EX who crossed the finish line first.
Except… the stewards weren’t done with him.
A carry-over penalty from Bahrain, where he had gained a position by bumping a rival off track, was applied post-race.
The win was stripped.
Abrantes was declared the victor — and the championship gap shrank to almost nothing.
Podium:
🥇 Abrantes
🥈 Legitimate_EX (after penalty)
🥉 Salmon
Lars, somehow, clawed his way back up to a respectable P7 despite the chaos he caused.
