Walls, Weather & Wreckage: Monaco Delivers Pure Fixxxer Chaos
The Fixxxer Racing Syndicate headed into the tight, unforgiving streets of Monaco for Round 2 of Season 2, where every millimeter matters and mistakes are punished instantly. Qualifying delivered ten minutes of pure tension as drivers threaded the walls lap after lap. Brandon elected not to qualify, choosing instead to start from the back and gamble on race chaos. Up front, Rybird continued his stunning rookie form by taking pole position, with Coen lining up P2 and fellow rookie Rednas impressing in P3. Championship rival Abrantes settled for P4, keeping himself firmly in the fight.
The race barely had time to settle before drama struck. Dzio, now driving for Mercedes after his move from Alpine in Season 2, suffered an immediate DNF on Lap 1, ending his night almost before it began. Just a few laps later, Brandon’s gamble unraveled when he beached his car in the Swimming Pool section. In a moment of sheer panic and luck, he managed to reverse and rejoin the track only milliseconds before disqualification. Chaos escalated on Lap 5 when Banana lost a wheel under pressure and slammed into the Monaco walls, bringing out the Safety Car. The Irish Ferrari driver could only hope his sidelined teammate Lukas wouldn’t be too disappointed, as Banana had now recorded DNFs in both opening rounds of Season 2.
Further back, the Haas team found themselves running P5 and P6, perfectly positioned for teamwork — but instead, miscommunication turned into contact. A collision on Lap 12 forced Flair_MM into the pits and dropped him down the order, squandering a golden opportunity for both cars. Meanwhile, the lead of the race was erupting into one of the most intense duels of the season. Coen and Rybird traded positions relentlessly for nearly ten laps, refusing to yield into Turn 1 or through the tunnel. The racing was daring, aggressive, and completely uncompromising.
That battle took a controversial turn when Flair_MM, now a backmarker, joined the fight and refused to yield to the leaders, instead racing them wheel-to-wheel. The situation exploded at the hairpin when Flair and Rybird made contact with the wall, sending Coen skating off the circuit. Flair initially claimed it was a different McLaren involved, but stewards later confirmed it was Rybird in P2 that had been blocked. The ruling handed Flair_MM two conduct points and a qualifying ban for the next race. During the fallout, Hellboy also retired, and Flair would crash out completely a few laps later, leaving the race heavily reshuffled. With the chaos unfolding, Abrantes slipped ahead of Rybird, reigniting their championship rivalry at the front.
The final act brought even more unpredictability as rain began to fall over Monaco, throwing strategy into chaos on an already treacherous circuit. The grip vanished instantly. Abrantes made the decisive call to pit early for intermediates, jumping ahead during the crossover phase. Rybird fought back relentlessly, maintaining track position and keeping pressure on his rival. On Lap 38, more heartbreak struck when Coen clipped the wall exiting the tunnel, broke suspension, and retired, handing Abrantes a secure podium spot.
Behind the leaders, Brandon’s risky no-qualifying strategy quietly paid off, recovering from last on the grid to finish a solid P8, salvaging valuable points after early scares. Meanwhile, despite his early misfortune, Salmon earned Driver of the Day honors, recognized for resilience and determination in a race that punished even the smallest mistakes.
At the front, rookie Rednas delivered a flawless drive to claim victory — the second rookie win of Season 2 — although as a reserve driver he would not score championship points. Behind him, Rybird salvaged P2, keeping his title momentum alive, while Abrantes rounded out the podium in P3 after a gritty strategic battle.
Top 3 – Monaco:

Monaco once again proved why it’s the ultimate pressure cooker — punishing hesitation, rewarding bravery, and reshaping the championship picture with every brush of the wall. Season 2 continues to deliver unpredictability at every turn.
